NCA
style 1/4" (6 mm) diameter boxed augers are coiled from high
tensile strength wire. A bulb-shaped boring head quickly threads through
strainer crossbars. Smoothly working hand grips make the handle easier to spin, so the work goes faster. The powder coated grips and galvanized tubing also give the tool a more attractive, quality appearance. The handle is formed from heavy-wall tubing and the thumb screw is 1/2" (13 mm) long x 1/4" (6 mm) for solid gripping without thread stripping. | KC style 1/4" (6 mm) augers have the same style spring as the NCA augers but the handle is shorter and does not have sliding hand grips. The KC’s also have the same attractive “Dual Display” corrugated box as the NCA’s. |
